What We Print

Vinyl Banners

Our highest-volume large format product. We print on 13oz scrim vinyl — the same weight used by national sign companies — with UV-cured inks rated for 1-3 years of outdoor exposure. Every banner gets reinforced grommets every 2 feet and hemmed edges on all sides.

If you need outdoor banner materials that hold up through OC's summer sun and winter rain, 13oz vinyl is the answer. We also stock mesh vinyl for high-wind installations — it lets air pass through without tearing.

Retractable Banner Stands

The standard for trade show display printing — an aluminum base with a spring-loaded graphic that pulls up and locks in place. Setup takes 30 seconds, no tools. The graphic retracts into the base for transport.

• 47x80 - Wide format ($200-$245)

Included: aluminum base, padded carrying case, replaceable graphic cartridge. When your messaging changes, order a new graphic for $85-$145 and swap it into the same base. We keep your files on hand for reorders.

Rigid Substrate Printing

Our flatbed UV printer handles materials that can't go through a roll-fed machine:

• Gator foam board (3/16" and 1/2") — lightweight, rigid, clean white surface. The go-to for indoor displays, point-of-purchase signage, and mounted presentations. Won't warp in climate-controlled spaces.
• PVC sintra (3mm and 6mm) — smooth, durable plastic sheets for indoor and covered outdoor signs. Paint-like finish, won't absorb moisture. Common for menu boards, directional signage, and wall-mounted displays.
• Acrylic panels — premium look for lobby signs, donor walls, and reception area displays. We print directly on the acrylic — no vinyl overlay needed.

Adhesive Vinyl and Window Graphics

Cut vinyl lettering, printed window graphics, and floor decals. We use 3M and Avery cast vinyl rated for 5+ years outdoors. Perforated window film lets you print a full-color graphic on the outside while maintaining visibility from the inside.

Getting Your Files Print-Ready

Resolution

Large format prints are viewed from a distance. 100-150 DPI at final size is the target — you do not need the 300 DPI required for business cards. A 3x6 banner at 150 DPI looks sharp from 5 feet away.

File Specs

• Bleed: 2 inches on all sides for banners, 0.125" for signs and posters
• Color mode: CMYK for accurate output (we convert RGB but colors may shift)
• Accepted formats: PDF, AI, EPS preferred — we accept most formats including PSD and high-res JPG/PNG
• Text safety: Keep important text 1 inch from edges to avoid trimming into your message

Sizing for Readability

• Lettering: 3 inches tall minimum per 100 feet of viewing distance
• Contrast: Dark text on light background reads best at distance
• Word count: 7 words or fewer — drivers and pedestrians will not read more
• Typefaces: Bold sans-serif fonts (Helvetica, Arial, Futura) over decorative scripts
